Most Londoners are well aware that the vermin (mice, rats etc) population is on the increase.
Extensive development often disturbs the habitats of mice driving them to look for new places to inhabit.
Many argue that the falling standards of refuse collection are also to blame. Refuse collection has fallen to once a week in most burroughs of London.
Often one infestation can affect a whole run of terraces as the houses are all accessible via connected roof spaces.
Sometimes though it is far easier to both spot and fix.
A survey on this London property had a hole the size of a brick which was suspected to be a former under floor fire draught. In this case all that was required was a grill to be fitted over the hole to prevent vermin entering the building.
